May 10: Together Again: An Artery Festival online

Artery, a community driven organization that organizes musical and cultural events in unusual spaces and living rooms, have been continually sharing music and supporting artists through the lockdown. As a part of that initiative this Sunday, May 10th, Artery team is hosting a festival, appropriately titled Together Again: An Artery Festival.

The lineup is a host of 7 artists from around the world including cities like Toronto, New York, Reykjavík, Tel Aviv, and the West of Ireland. Each individual artist will perform live from the the safe space of their home. The Toronto performers involved are mezzo-soprano, Julie Nesrallah (the host of CBC Music’s TEMPO) and Nicholas Isaiah Rose King, who is a performer with The National Ballet of Canada. Additionally, you will see performances by Guy Mintus (NYC), Christoph Carr (Brooklyn), Taylor Plas (Brooklyn), Svavar Knutur (Reykjavík), and Moxie (Sligo).

The festival will serve as a fundraise for Love Local Fund, to support individuals and families in our community. The festival is completely free and for every RSVP, a $5 donation is made. You can RSVP right here and make sure to tune in on Sunday! (All times are in EST)
