Total Slacker is a psych-lo-fi-garage-noise-gaze band from Brooklyn. Your typical girl-boy combo consists of Tucker Rountree and Emily Jane and these two pride on their untypical sense of humor.

After spending a year touring with DFA 1979, Thee Oh Sees, The Rapture, Vivian Girls and alike the band joined forces with Night Manager for a Touch Yourself USA Tour.

As a perfect paring Night Manager is inspired by 90s grunge and 60s pop undertones resulting in a new wave light indie punk. You may have seen them tour with Tennis, Frankie Rose, DIIV or DOM, or heard their catchy release song Pizza Pasta on Fader.

With heavy drums and high voices Total Slacker and Night Manager toured through 13 US cities with their DIY house shows and venues. We caught them at the Township in Chicago on June 8 and to say the least the experience was memorable. Loud, mildly psychedelic music accompanied with heavy drums their voices filled the inspired dancing crowd.

The tour has recently concluded in Boston but the music lives on. Night Manager is working on a new EP while Total Slacker has recently dropped their first 7” Brain Slime and is about to release Friend Crush with FRIENDS in late June. Keep an eye out on these cats because there is a lot of potential.
